Soup warms the heart and warms the soul. It’s a common saying that seems to be really true based on experience. Whenever we eat soup, there’s just that homey feeling of comfort that it brings us. I love the warmth caused by soup. It reminds me of those evenings with the family when I was just a kid. My Mom would cook us soup for supper, and we would it along with her homemade bread that just tasted so moist and soft. Yes, definitely good times!
I always serve soup for my family even if it’s summer. I mean sure, it’s too hot for summer, but the comfort it brings transcends seasonal boundaries. You can always enjoy soup all year round.
My husband loves strong-flavored soups. Most of the time, he wants them fiery hot and thick. However, to suit the taste of everyone, we had to cut down on the spice.
Our kids love soup so much. Even if they eat the soup a bit messily, it shows on their faces how much they love it. Soup is always on my menu even if we have another main dish.
This stuffed pepper soup is a favorite of my husband. Its’ strong-flavored and at the same time there’s that taste of comfort that makes it homey. If you want a copy of this recipe, head on over to the next page!
