Lasagna will always take away the attention even if there are tons of food available at the supper table. It’s a classic pasta dish, and classic pasta dishes are there at the top of the food hierarchy. My family loves pasta dishes so much, most especially lasagna; and they will be the first ones to line up for it. My recent lasagna recipe is a bit different than my usual version. Well, at least when it comes to how they look. I still followed the recipe of my Mom, but the method was different.
Lasagna roll ups. Yes, that’s what I did for my last lasagna recipe. I just had to try it because I got curious.
My husband even helped me make the lasagna rolls. Our kids were at the kitchen table with their art materials while the husband and I were at the kitchen counter, rolling lasagna. It’s a picturesque family photo, isn’t it?
My husband and I had fun making those lasagna rolls. I think it made a pretty good bonding activity for the four of us. It’s just that sometimes, the children would look at us as if they couldn’t understand why their parents were acting that way.
Our kids also loved the lasagna rolls! It was a bit messy though because they were trying to unroll them, but yes, it was a hit to my family!

Quick Tip: After the noodles are done boiling, drain and separate them and then let them cool for a few minutes before rolling.
