Whenever a colleague of my husband comes to the house for dinner, I make sure that I always cook to impress. Elegant yet simple meals are usually my go-to recipes because they are reliable and will not fail you. And what’s more classic and elegant than baby back ribs?
Ribs are what he actually requested last time a colleague of his and his family visited. He helped me cook for them. He took care of the mashed potatoes while I took care of dessert. We didn’t need to watch over our baby back ribs because they’re doing their own magic. They’re being cooked in a crockpot, which was really convenient for both of us.
The crockpot was doing its magic of making the ribs fall-off-the-bone tender and combining the flavors that would make the ribs taste divine. The feast was ready by six and we even had time to clean and dress up before our guests arrived!

Quick Tip: Barbecue sauce is best added after the ribs are mostly cooked. Otherwise, the sugar in the sauce will burn and you’ll end up with a difficult cleaning job.
