It’s strawberry and pasta in one sweet salad dish! Are you blown away? Because I am. I have used other fruits for salad before, but I have never used strawberry. For me, strawberries are for cakes and for other types of desserts. Salad is out of the question. Well, until I tasted this strawberry pasta salad recipe!
The idea was given to me by my husband. He came home a little late one night because of a dinner at his boss’s house. He told me all about the conversation that happened in there and then he told me all about the food.
He said that there was this salad recipe that tasted like strawberry ice cream. He actually laughed at the look on my face because I haven’t heard anything like that before.
But then he told me that he loved it so much he asked the wife for the recipe (he would do anything for food!). Unfortunately, it was a “family” recipe so she couldn’t share it.
My husband was so disappointed. It’s the reason why I searched for a recipe similar to that one.
Fortunately, this recipe hub called Bake At 350 has one! I tried it a few nights ago for my husband. And he loved it! Even my sons loved it! They ignored the chicken dish in favor of the salad! Yes, it became a main dish that night when it was only supposed to be a side dish.
