Everyone loves a moist and chewy chocolate chip cookie. As a kid, my mother loved to bake a batch and then she used to serve us one for each meal. She used to serve one after lunch and then another after dinner. At night, if we’re hungry, she always gave us two and a glass of milk to go with them. That was always a perfect night for me and my brother.
Now that I am a mother, I do the same to my kids. I don’t deprive them of sweets, but I control their sugar intake. It’s difficult sometimes because I can’t say no to those cute faces. But it will always be their health first, so even though I feel bad, I make sure they only have enough. Chocolate chip cookie is my twins’ favorite cookie. So I make sure they don’t snack on them more that what they’re supposed to eat.
