My family loves breads, which is why this honey oatmeal bread recipe became an instant hit. I got this recipe from one of my friends while I was asking them for new bread recipes. My husband and I have our favorite bakery. And most of the time we just come over there to buy our favorite breads which we stock in our house. But there are times that I want to just bake something homemade because homemade bread really tastes different. I always remember my mother’s words, “You should always have a good homemade bread at home.” I get you now, Mom!
My friend found this honey oatmeal bread recipe over at Dine and Dish (thank you, Dine and Dish for sharing this!). She said she had the same predicament as me so she scoured the internet for shared bread recipes and encountered this. Since she has a lot of oatmeal at home (she loves to stock food), this is her best way to use them. When I first made this for my family, I thought they wouldn’t appreciate it as much as I did (I fell in love at first taste). But I was surprised when they almost finished the entire loaf in one sitting! So I guess it’s safe to say that it’s a hit with my family.

Quick Tip: It can be made without a bread machine. Allow at least 2 punch down, rises before baking it.
