My husband says funny thing whenever he’s sleepy, and one of those is the question, “Can I only eat Boston Cream Pie in Boston”? What’s funnier is, he doesn’t really intentionally say such things. It’s just when he’s sleepy, his mouth works faster than his brain. He said that one when he was trying hard to stay awake even though he’s truly sleepy. It was a Friday night and we were having a movie marathon with the kids. He was too tired from work. He wants to stay awake for the sake of the kids, but his brain is failing him.
It’s because of that incident that I immediately searched for a Boston Cream Pie recipe. I am so glad I found this one from Home Cooking Adventure. It will take a bit of your time, but it’s pretty easy to make. I made it that Saturday to surprise my husband. He was embarrassed and at the same time elated when I served a piece right in front of him. That didn’t stop me from teasing him though. And I knew our sons kept looking at us, wondering when their parents would finally come back to their own reveries. If you want a copy of this creamy and chocolaty dessert, head over to the next page! Enjoy!
