Portia’s Reese’s peanut butter cookie dough dip surprised me! First of all, I want to say that Portia is one of my friends. I met her in college and she was a year younger. We both just happened to be a part of the same university org. We lost contact after college because she moved to California. But just last month, I bumped into her at the local grocery and was surprised to see her with a kid on her hips and an adorable one at that. Portia moved to our state and was living with her husband at an apartment thirty minutes away from my place. It felt good to know that I could now contact her whenever I want to because she’s just nearby now! She invited me and my family for dinner so we could catch up. And who was I to say no?
We had a lot of fun catching up during dinner at their house. My kids played with her little boy while our husbands watched over them. My husband knew Portia, but they weren’t as close as the two of us so he volunteered instead to watch over our kids while he and Portia’s husband discuss work (so workaholic!). While we were catching up, she served me crackers along with this dip, which I thought was ice cream at first. Oh my goodness! It was the most sinful dip I have ever tasted. It has my favorite pieces of Reese’s peanut butter cups along with cream cheese and I just wanted to leave the crackers alone and eat it as if it was ice cream! Portia just laughed at me, but I was truly serious! If you want to see for yourself how sinful this dip is, please head over to the next page for the recipe!

Quick Tip: If you are feeling very generous to yourself, you may eat this dip with a spoon. Like an ice cream.
