These peach hand pies are so handy you will find yourself enjoying them more than you should! At least that is what happens to me every time I see hand pies such as these. They are just so handy to eat. You don’t need any special knives or forks or something. You can eat them using a paper napkin and a towel. They are very easy to make too and they are made from peaches so they taste really sweet and tart at the same time. I love all types of fruit hand pies. My favorites are apples, blueberries, and even banana. But these peach hand pies are a bit more special because they remind me of what my grandmother used to make.
My maternal grandmother loved to make fruit pies. It’s because in their hometown, they always have the freshest fruits available. I often tell this… my grandmother didn’t like using anything that came from a pack or a can. She always loved to make things from scratch even if it always took long. It’s the reason why her pies were always extra special. I’m sorry, Mom, but Grandma’s fruit pies will always be the best ones out there. So anyway, Grandma used to make these hand pies for the “kids”. Because as kids, we weren’t really too careful with the utensils so we always broke plates and glasses. But these pies, she always served on a basket and we could just get them using our hands! These pies are easy to eat and easy to make. Yes, easy as a pie!
