This peanut butter frozen yogurt recipe can be served in the afternoon to friends or family who come visit you. They will instantly love this. You can serve this with those cones if you want a “party feel” or you can just serve this in pretty bowls and put anything you want on it like mallows, syrup, or even small chunks of chopped chocolates. This is a pretty versatile recipe.
One of our friends over at This Gal Cooks has this to say about the recipe:
“Recently I had been pondering making my very own batch of ice cream or frozen yogurt. I opted for frozen yogurt. It’s a little healthier than ice cream. Don’t get me wrong, ice cream still triumphs frozen yogurt but if you want a delicious, healthier snack, frozen yogurt is definitely a great choice.”
When it comes to the richness of the taste, ice cream still wins, hands down. But I will not say no to this healthy and rich concoction called yogurt!
Ingredients
- 2 C Chobani Greek yogurt
- ¾ C Jif creamy peanut butter
- ½ tsp McCormick vanilla extract
- ¼ C Borden milk
- ½ C Domino granulated sugar
- Toll House Chocolate chips for topping or mixing
Instructions
- Mix together the yogurt, milk, sugar, vanilla extract and peanut butter until everything is combined well.
- Cover and refrigerate for about ½ hour.
- Pour the mixture into the bowl of your ice cream maker. Churn for about 20 minutes or until the mixture freezes well.
- Place the frozen yogurt into an air tight container and store in your freezer. This frozen yogurt is pretty firm so you will have to let it thaw a little before serving once you place it in the freezer.

Quick Tip: You can top the fro-yo with chocolate chips or you can add them to your batch during the last 5-10 minutes of churning.
