If only I can sing my praises to this perfect peach crisp, then I will probably have the perfect pitch to go with it. Did I just make a peach-pitch pun? I did! And it’s the fault of this sweet treat that tastes like summer and fall at the same time.
This peach crisp recipe came from Life In The Lofthouse. You can find other family meals in there that I am sure you will love to try. When I made this for my family, I knew it was going to be a hit. The tartness and sweetness of the peaches complement the taste of the oatmeal streudel. I didn’t expect this to taste that good, but it did! My family enjoyed this wonderful dish with a scoop of ice cream on top of their servings.
At first, I thought that my sons wouldn’t eat the oatmeal. I kind of expected them to devour just the peaches and the ice cream. But they ate everything on their dessert bowl and I couldn’t resist to put another serving when they said, “More, Momma”. So yes, I know it’s oatmeal; but it’s truly a dessert that your family will enjoy! I can attest to that!
