Whenever I taste such a hearty dish that I want to make for my family, I will literally beg the person to share the recipe with me. Just recently, I fell in love with Aunt Lily’s lemon chicken piccata and I couldn’t get enough of it! I visited her a couple of weeks ago because I was in the area for a project. As usual, Aunt Lily was excited to see me.
She was always excited to see anyone actually. She and Uncle live quite far so it was rare that we got to see them. We had a bit of catching up to do so we talked while she prepared dinner. I was able to say yes to staying for dinner because my flight back was a bit late.
Aunt Lily served this most amazing lemon chicken piccata. I have my own version of this and I have eaten other versions too. But so far, hers was one of the best versions I have ever tasted! I couldn’t get enough of it.
I asked her for the recipe because I wanted to recreate it for my family. And she generously gave me the list. I went home with my stomach satisfied and with a copy of her recipe. I found a recipe that tastes as good as hers. And you can find it on the next page. Enjoy!
