There is nothing better than a hearty soup for a cold weather. There’s something comforting about soups that make everything feel better. My husband has been sick last week. Usually, he’s always at the brink of health. However, the stress from work added to his worries, making him more vulnerable. His body finally gave up and so he got sick for three days last week. He didn’t want to go to the doctors because it was a simple cold and fever. But I still had to bring my boys to my brother’s house so they wouldn’t catch their father’s illness. I took care of him for three days until he got better.
One of his comfort during his sickness days, was my soup. Every day, I make him a different soup that would warm him up. I made him chicken noodle soup, potato soup, and finally, this ranch chicken soup that I have found over at Tastes Better From Scratch. I followed the recipe when I made it for him. Since it’s spicy, it helped with his colds. And the warmth just made him feel better. I knew he already felt better when he asked for another bowl. Thank goodness he is well now!
