My husband and I are avid Disney lovers. We have been to Disney so much in our lifetime, we know the parks and resorts like the back of our hands. However, even with all those trips, we still feel the magic every time we go. We actually bought into the Disney Vacation Club the month after we got married and we have been going multiple times a year every single year since then (it helps that we live just three hours away). Our kids grew up going to Disney and now we get to take our grandkids as well.
We love the rides, shows, attractions and restaurants. All the characters make the day fun and exciting as well. But if there is one thing we love most, it is the food. I mean, there is just something about eating a Mickey shaped pretzel or ice cream that just makes you squeal a bit inside. The other day, as we were walking through the park, we saw a stand for Dole Whip. It had been years since we tried it and we stopped and ordered one. It was positively amazing. I knew I had to come back home and figure out a recipe with the same flavors for us to enjoy here.
