My kids love peanut butter and chocolate. It is something that I think they learned in school after dipping their apples in peanut butter and chocolate syrup on a dare. Every one of those kids that dared my son thought it would be nasty but he ended up loving it. All the kids then tried it and it became a trend all across the lunch room to dip your apple slices in peanut butter and chocolate syrup. All of us moms had to pack our kids what they needed for this little tradition or we would lose our status of cool moms.
Well, after trying peanut butter cups, my kids realized that this was their thing. It was their favorite way to enjoy a dessert, and was also their favorite way to make a fun healthy snack be delicious. Well, one day I figured I would teach them that they did not always have to eat their peanut butter and chocolate with apples. I would make them something sugary and delicious that would leave them wanting more and let me tell you, it totally worked. They were mind blown over these and now I was the EXTRA cool mom for putting these together and sending them in the lunchboxes!
