This sour cream pound cake recipe reminds me of my childhood. Those times in the kitchen when you were just watching your grandmother or your mother cook? Ah. Good times! My mom loved to make pound cakes, which was something she inherited from my grandmother. Grandmother made a lot of pound cakes too, though I had never tasted something like a sour cream pound cake. Grandmother’s pound cakes were more of the classic ones. My mom was a bit more liberated when it came to her pound cake recipes, but I still could not remember a sour cream pound cake. I would have, you know. Because this sour pound cake recipe is extremely delicious!
This sour cream pound cake recipe is something that I found on the internet while I was searching for recipes that are easy to make. It follows the usual method of making pound cakes except it has the sour cream on the list of ingredients. When I made this for my sons and my husband, my husband couldn’t even utter a word. He simply ate a slice, and then ate another slice, until he had eaten about four. And my twin boys, they love anything sweet so it’s my turn to actually stop them from having another slice. A copy of this recipe is available on the next page. I am sure your family and friends will love this sour cream pound cake recipe as much as my own do!

This recipe is absolutely amazing, but no matter how much I grease my pans they stick. I made this twice with different types of pans, ( bundt and loaf). Any suggestions. I followed the directions precisely.
