I thought it only happened to romantic chick flicks. You know, when a group of guys offend their girlfriends all at the same time? Well, it happened to one of my caboodles before. I was glad I wasn’t there or else I would be part of the women who rebelled agains the boys. I think it’s pretty easy to guess—football game night! There was supposed to be a group date. The boys were supposed to bring the girls to the movies after having coffee at our favorite coffee shop hang out place. The boys didn’t turn out at said coffee shop and none were even answering their phones.
It turned out that the boys got lost in a game of football that they forgot they had dates. The girls didn’t talk to them for a week. They approached me and couple of others who weren’t there. I was willing to help at first until I learned the reason. They had to approached one of the girls’ mothers who taught them how to make these cheesecake bars. I let them use my kitchen as long as they would clean it up afterwards. It had been successful. A week later, they were all sweet towards each other again. Who knew that something as bittersweet as these bars could actually be the reason for a lot of couples’ reconciliation?
