Kids. How many times have I told people how much I love kids and their sense of humor? I love it most when they’re throwing their mini tantrums (as long as they’re not directed towards me); they looked so cute with their scrunched up faces and pouts. Denny is one of my godsons. I’m pretty close to him because his mom Tina and I work for the same company so we’re usually assigned to the same projects. I always get to see him whenever I go to Tina’s house. Tina always brings him to my house whenever she needs to discuss something with me.
The last time they came to my house, someone just brought me a pretty Pavlova. I didn’t want to eat it yet because it looked pretty, but since Tina was a close friend, I served it towards them. I knew something was wrong when they arrived because Denny was pouting. Tina said not to mind him because he was throwing a childish tantrum. Tina didn’t buy him what he wanted so he was quietly rebelling. When I served them the Pavlova, Tina thought it was pretty too. Denny was just quiet. We were all eating our slices when he just exclaimed, “The Pavlova is prettier than my mom!” Although he sounded like “The palova is prettier than my mom!” That’s not really true because Tina was extremely pretty, but I still laughed.
