Just recently, I was over at my neighbor Anne’s house and she was telling me how much her kids love chocolate covered strawberries. She says they are totally delicious (and I so agree, chocolate covered strawberries are so delicious!). The only issue she was having with them was that they were too much of a hassle for her kids to eat. She said every time they bit into one, the chocolate cracked and would end up as a mess on the table or even worse, the floor. She says she loves giving them one as a treat for dessert, they are just such a hassle for her.
Well, while I was at her house, she was trying a new experiment. Always count on Anne to prepare foods in ways that no one else does and find ingenious ways to prepare tasty foods. Well, after a long time searching for some great way to make chocolate covered strawberries for her kids to eat for dinner, she tried this: ice cube chocolate strawberries. I know it sounds weird, but read on and you will see what a marvelous invention this is. I like these because not only are they mess free, but they are completely cool!
