Mom told me once that I should have an arsenal of sweet goodies that I could serve in all occasions, so that whenever I am invited somewhere or whenever I find myself having guests, I won’t have a hard time thinking about what to serve them. Obviously, I failed to follow her advice because I still keep calling her for recipes. I remember how she used to be really be ready when we have sudden visitors.
