Every week, we have Mexican night at my house.
My family and I love eating Mexican food and were are always looking for new casseroles and recipes to keep things interesting. One of our most beloved Mexican dishes are burritos. However, if you make burrito filling the authentic way it can be insanely time-consuming. So, I set out to find a recipe that would take down the time a bit and not require me to be in the kitchen all day.
I went over to my neighbor’s house and asked her if she had any ideas. Sally, my friend, and neighbor, always has amazing cooking ideas.
Sally told me that she did indeed have a tasty solution to my time-consuming burrito problem and that all I needed to do was use the slow cooker. What a simple fix! I know slow cooker cooking really simplifies things but I wasn’t sure if I could use it for these burritos or not.

Quick Tip: I like to serve these burritos with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole sauce. What are your favorite toppings for burritos?
