I am a huge fan of dessert as I suppose most of you are.
Sometimes, I get tired of all the chocolate and peanut butter desserts floating around. Yes, I actually just said that. Shame on me, I know! But, man, it’s true! Sometimes, I just want a fresher more natural dessert; something that contains fruit and whole ingredients. That’s where custard comes into play. I came across this amazing blackberry and pineapple custard dessert and it was like heaven in a pan. This recipe is so versatile as you can pipe it into a cake or donut or even fill a pie shell with it. Talk about yummy goodness1
I love how fresh and whole the ingredients are for this yummy dessert. I found the blackberries at my local organic market and I used canned pineapple in its own juice. The eggs I used are from a local Amish farm down the road from me. I love brown eggs!
