You Won’t Need A Knife For These!
Boy, it had been ages since the last time I had made pork chops! I’m not even sure why; I really like pork chops, they are inexpensive and they make such a tasty meal when combined with your favorite side dish (for me that would be mashed potatoes with garlic!)
My Mom used to make pork chops quite often when I was a child, but I never got tired of them. I guess I’ve had some bad luck with the recipes I’ve tried, because somehow it always seemed like the pork chops I made turned a little dry and, well, not as delicious as I had expected.
When I came across this recipe I just couldn’t help but give it a try! Mainly because it didn’t take much prep work and I could just let the slow cooker work its magic. Letting these babies cook on low heat for a few hours really makes all the difference!

Quick Tip: Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
Or you can use my Mom’s recipe. Brown the pork chops. In the same pan, add one sliced onion and a can of cream of mushroom soup mixed with a can of red wine. Pour over pork chops. Cover and simmer until tender.
What happened to the chicken broth??????
It’s right there in the list of ingredients,it’s the last one.
“Place remaining flour in a small bowl; whisk in broth until smooth”
Can I make these pork chops without a slow cooker? And how would I do it?
