This Cake Is So Simple, Your 6-year-old Could Make It!
Let me tell you a little secret. I haven’t always liked the cherry flavor. In fact, when I was younger I used to hate it so much that the scent alone would make me cringe.
And yet, so many people loved it that it was put in everything (Cherry Coke was a big ‘no’ for me!) But I’ve always followed one rule when it comes to food. If you don’t like it, give it twenty tries. That’s how many times it takes for someone to get used to a new flavor – or so I’ve been told.
Well, I don’t know how many times exactly it took to get used to cherry – it might have been more than twenty! But finally I was able to say I actually liked it! And I’ve been trying different recipes with cherry ever since. This super easy dump cake is one of the very best ones!
This was actually a recipe for a strawberry dump cake but since my new love for cherry, I’ve changed it a little. Feel free to use any flavor you desire!
