Ritzy pineapple casserole would make a wonderful dish to take to a church potluck. It’s easy to make, easy to pass, and VERY easy to eat. Nobody knows that there is a layer of sweet and tangy pineapple under the crumbled up crackers and cheese.
Most people are expecting to get a mouthful of the normal casserole ingredients like cream cheese, onions, and whatever else is usually in them. Once they take that first bite they are pleasantly surprised. I made this yummy casserole a few Sundays ago for a church function and everyone was asking me for the recipe.
I guess you could say that ritzy pineapple casserole was a real hit with the masses!
My friends over at Recipe Lion had this to say:
Who knew the wacky combination of pineapple and cheese could be so delicious? Ritzy Pineapple Casserole is a recipe with Ritz crackers, pineapple, Cheddar cheese, and just a few other simple ingredients. This easy casserole recipe is practically fool-proof. Simply mix the ingredients together, layer them in a casserole dish, and bake! When it’s done, you’ll have a deliciously sweet casserole with a crunchy, salty Ritz layer on top.

Quick Tip: You don’t have to use Ritz crackers in this casserole but that brand is certainly reccommended.
