I’ll admit, I’m an easy meal kinda gal. No, I don’t mean I spend my time making a bunch of boxed junk but I do love using my slow cooker and making casseroles. My husband and kids get tired of these dishes and want variety, sometimes.
So, I scoured the internet for a fancy schmancy meal that wasn’t going to break my budget or keep me in the kitchen for too long. I mean, I’m a writer, a busy mother, and the director of the Christma pageant, I ain’t got time to be slavin’ away in front of the stove. Chicken and mushroom smothered in Dijon cream sauce was the winning recipe that captivated my heart.
It’s easy to make but looks and tastes like I spent a million years preparing it. Everyone in my household likes it. My boys will pick the mushrooms out but they eat everything else.
And hey, there aren’t any complaints during dinner so that’s a plus, right? Right! can I get an “amen” from my fellow mothers? LOL Seriously, you’ll love this amazing meal and it won’t take to much on your part to make. Go for it, sister!
