So, the other day I was sitting in my kitchen by the window, one of my favorite spots, reading a book and enjoying this gourmet coffee I picked up from the grocery store. It’s a flavored coffee that tastes and smells like butterscotch. Yum! Anyway, I am startled by this wrapping on my window. I look out and it’s Sally with a cake in her hands. I immediately forgave her for scaring the crap outta me because she had a cake with her lol!
I told my friend Sally to come around to the back door and let herself in. She was already on her way up the steps. Whatever this cake is must be amazing! So, I took a bit of Sally’s cake and was instantly greeted with moist and sweet flavors. It was kind of like raisins. Sally informed me that i was eating prune cake and I didn’t believe her until she showed me this recipe. This cake was far too amazing to be made from prunes! However, it was made with prunes and it had a delightful orange frosting on the top. Yummo!
