These Rice Krispie treats are made with simply 4 ingredients and make such a large batch you’ll have enough to share with the whole neighborhood. But believe me, they won’t make it that far. These are so addictive. All the gooey marshmallow and buttery coating make these so delicious!
Check out what my pals over at group recipes had to say about this yummy treat:
This is a great rice Krispie squares treat. It is off a Rice Bubbles box here in Australia.
Make these next time your kids or grandkids come home and give them a delicious surprise. Serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you’ll be supermom or supergrand-mom of the day! They will constantly ask for you to make these again and again!
Ingredients
1/4 c margarine
125g caramels ( I think they are Jersey caramels here )
300g Jet-Puffed white marshmallows ( I used mixed white & pink )
6 c Kellogg’s rice Krispies
Instructions
Melt the margarine in a large saucepan on the stove over low heat.
Add the caramels and marshmallows. Stir until completely melted and remove from heat. Add Kellogg’s Rice Bubbles cereal and combine until rice bubbles are well coated.
Using a buttered spatula ( I spray baking spray on a spatula ) press the mixture into a pan coated with cooking spray ( I press the mix into a pan layered with baking paper ). Cool and cut into squares.
