A long time ago I had the pleasure of visiting the french Quarter in new Orleans. Amongst the beauty of the city and all of its history lies many fabulous creole places to eat. I had the pleasure of tasting some authentic creole chicken sausage jambalaya and it was seriously one of the best foods I had ever eaten.
The flavors that are intermingled in this dish are beyond belief. I couldn’t believe how my taste buds where exploding with excitement as I was swallowing down bite after bite. So, once I got back home i decided that I needed to learn how to make jambalaya for myself.
Now, I don’t claim to make this dish as good as the folks down in the bayou but I think I’m getting close! 🙂 On the next page you will find a step-by-step recipe that’ll teach you how to make an authentic jambalaya using an assortment of sausages and chicken. It’s really good and you’ll be glad that you took the time to make it. Enjoy!
