Chicken In A Cheesy Cream Sauce? Bring On This Casserole!

This is one of the casseroles that you are going to wish that there are leftovers so that you can eat it again on another day.

Chicken in a cheesy cream sauce.. Comfort food. Got from a girlfriends mother. Her mothers before that.

I love these classic recipes that have been passed down from one generation to the next, don’t you?

 

 

 

Ingredients

1/3c. Gold Medal flour (I use more)

1tsp.Morton salt

1tsp. McCormick paprik1/2tsp.pepper

21/2-3lbs. Tyson chicken,cut up

1/3c. Land O Lakes butter

101/2oz Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup

1c. Daisy sour cream

1/2c.sliced mushrooms

2/3c. Kraft shredded cheddar cheese

 

Instructions

Combine flour,salt,paprika and pepper in plastic bag

Shake chicken in mixture

Melt butter in skillet,brown chicken on all sides.

Place in 9×13″ pan

Combine soup,sour cream, and mushrooms and pour over chicken.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven to melt cheese.

Note:I double soup,sour cream and mushrooms,Love the gravy.
