After you bake this once for your family, they will be forever hooked. Around this time of year, I begin to crave Fall weather. We live in Miami where it is practically summer year-round.
That means, we barely get fall weather. And if we do, it comes around January or February. And we skip winter weather altogether.
It is quite disappointing if you ask me. Although, my family up north who deals with snow would disagree. 😉 Anyway, although I cannot get the Fall weather, that doesn’t stop me from going all out and getting everything looking as if it was.
I decorate the house and wear light autumn colored sweaters, and begin baking lots of Fall treats. This caramel apple french toast is one of them. It’s a classic flavor of fall and with the warmth of the french toast, the sweetness of the caramel and tartness of the apple, it reminds me of our trips up north when we enjoyed deliciousness like this in the freezing cold. It’s a perfect way to bring Fall to Miami.
