As I was searching high and low for my favorite recipes to share on here, I remembered this classic French Toast recipe. Growing up, it was always a favorite, and I loved helping my mom prepare it. I thought of it as a treat and something we would get if we had a good week or a celebration of some sort.
My mom always made sure we had this as a tasty treat when those days rolled around. Now that I am older, this is still a celebratory dish. Wanna know why? Because I get to use all my leftover bread and fruit before they go to waste and then I have breakfast for all week in one overnight dish.
I mean, that’s a major win right? Even if that were not my reasons though, it is still such a delicious breakfast dish that is irreplaceable in my dish. This will forever be my favorite berry breakfast dish.
