6. Ham Potato Salad

Let’s face it, we all love potato salad. I mean, it truly is the American mascot of BBQs and picnics. From the time i was a wee little sprout my mother had me mixing up the potato salad for various parties and get-togethers. I loved the stuff! I have tasted both the midwestern and east coast versions of potato salad and I gotta tell you, the midwest wins. Here in Pennsylvania, they put sugar in everything, including their potato salad. I don’t like it too much.

Anyhoo, this recipe is for ham and potato salad. You add in some savory ham chunks to the mix and now you don’t just have a side dish you have a meal 🙂
