1. Hamburger Casserole
I am all about cooking up vintage meals and this hamburger casserole is about as old-school as they come. I can remember my grandma making this casserole when I was a little girl and telling me that her mother used to make it, too. It’s filling, easy to prepare, and meets the needs of almost everyone’s taste buds.
I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how good this dish comes out. Cooking with ground beef has always been a favorite ingredient of mine because it’s easy and it cooks fast. I think ground beef gives this casserole a savory kick.
My husband and kids love it when I make hamburger casserole. My oldest child smothers hers in mustard and ketchup. I’m not sure how good this is as I’ve never personally tried it but she sure does love it.
