My little sister was just about to get married and before the big day, there is always a bridal shower. Now, being the Matron of Honor, I was in charge of getting everything put together for the party and this included the food. So, I did what anyone would do in this situation and called upon dear old mom.
My mother, who is an amazing cook, said that we should have chicken salad. I thought this was a wonderful idea! Mom made the biggest batch of chicken salad I had ever seen in my life.
We served it on dainty little croissant bread and our guests could elect to have lettuce and cheese on their sandwiches if they wanted. It turned out amazingly well!
