7. Banana Pudding Frosting
What You’ll Need:
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups confectioner’s sugar
1/3 cup mashed ripe bananas
1 teaspoon heavy cream
1/3 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers
What To Do:
- In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Add confectioner’s sugar and mix until combined. Add remaining ingredients and beat until smooth. Use immediately, or cover and chill until ready to use.

This frosting recipe makes enough for about 12 cupcakes. To make ’em showstoppers, top each cupcake with a slice of banana and a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers. They won’t be able to resist having one (or two!).
