For years, I’ve been a mega fan of pineapple upside down cake but I had never experienced the Bundt version. Boy, was I ever missing out! I don’t know what it is about Bundt cakes but they just make desserts taste a whole lot better than what they normally do. Maybe it’s their shape or how amazing the ring bakes up. I don’t know, but what I do know is that Bundts are darn good!
So, yesterday, Sally walks over with what appears to be a Bundt cake in her hands. I’m all eyes at this point because as I mentioned above, I love Bundts! She whips the top off of her carry-a-long cake box and I’m met with a glorious sight of juicy, moist, pineapple upside down Bundt cake. I could hardly wait to get a slice. After the first bite, I was pretty much in the zone, the Bundt cake zone, that is 🙂
