Italian food is one of my favorite cuisines. I love pizza, pasta, and everything in-between. When I came across this Italian layer bake casserole I seriously thought I had died and gone to foodie heaven.
It is uh-mazing. I, of course, had to include my darling neighbor Sally in on the fun and had her over for dinner the night I prepared this casserole for my family. Sally and her husband, Hank, both loved the meal.
My husband loved the casserole so much that he said I should have made two. So, yeah, I guess you could say that this Italian layer bake was a real winner in my household. My kids liked it, too. My youngest said he could have done without the peppers but other than that he enjoyed his meal.
