My grandmother was a full-blooded Hungarian woman. She would make all sorts of meals that showed off her heritage. She taught my mother how to make these foods and then my mom taught me. Don’t you just love generational cooking? Anyway, goulash was a staple food in my house as I was growing up. My mom would make it at least once a week. It was always so zesty and savory, I could never eat enough of it. I liked to sprinkle garlic salt on my serving of Hungarian goulash as a condiment. It was super tasty!
I know there are many variations of goulash available in the world today, but I’m telling you folks, this Hungarian recipe is the best. You won’t another recipe like it and honestly, you won;’t need to once you taste this goodness. You’ll also find that this goulash is very easy to make.
