The other day my daughter came home from school and said that she needed a homemade classroom treat but that it couldn’t contain any eggs because a classmate had an allergy. She then produced a teacher’s note to back this whole debacle up. I was a little perplexed because what kind of treat doesn’t contain eggs if we are talking about baked goods that is.
I mean, I contemplated sending in candy but really, that just isn’t my style. So, I got on the horn and asked my neighbor Sally if she had any ideas. Of course, Sally came to my rescue and led me to this amazing eggless brownie recipe.
I didn’t think it was going to turn out worth a hoot, but it definitely delivered! I made a test batch for my family before making a batch for my daughter’s classroom and boy or boy, am I ever glad that I did. These brownies turned out -uh-mazing!
