Chicken Pot Pie: It’s The Champion Of The Dinner Table

I have never been much a fan of pot pies. My mom got the frozen Banquet pies and the gravy inside was so soupy that the crust got soggy and I just wasn’t having that! In my later years I decided to make one homemade, and it came out much better!

With the knowledge that I liked them that way but really no time I didn’t ever make one again. Then my son asked me how a pot pie tastes. So, I had to quickly find a recipe because there was no way I was introducing him to them using a frozen version.

This is the one that I found, and happily it was perfect. He was in love and so was the rest of the family, so I guess I’ll be making it more often. I really don’t mind though, this recipe was super easy to follow.

Quick Tip: If the pie seems to be getting too crispy you can cover the edges with foil.
