When I was a kid I can remember coming home to the scent of mom’s roast beef cooking in the oven. She had this old roaster pan that was black and speckled with a lid. I can still picture it now in my mind. She would toss in carrots and potatoes to the roasting pan and everything would cook up nice and slow. We all loved this meal and would usually eat it on Sunday afternoons after the church service concluded. What a wonderful childhood memory. Do you remember how your mother used to cook her roast beef dinners?
I think mom would be proud of this particular recipe because it is a lot easier to make than a traditional beef roast cooked in the oven. This recipe is a slow cooker roast, and man oh man, is it ever good!
