Last weekend we had our area’s county fair. It was a lot of fun, except for the part where my son and I got sick on a whirly twirly ride. Man, do those cheesy little fair rides go fast! I don’t think we could walk straight for an hour afterward. Besides that little incident, we had lots of fun looking at the farm animals and eating great fair food. We saw a few horses that were so big you had to look up at them. It was crazy! I kind of felt bad for them being caged up in such a small pen considering their massive sizes. Their owners where taking good care of them, though.
So, back to the fair food that we ate. We had everything from candy apples to pizza and nachos. However, the best food that we grubbed on were the funnel cakes. I could not stop eating them! They were excellent. So, what did I decide to do? Why make my own at home of course!
