5 Cookie Recipes That’ll Leave You Speechless

Check out what my friends at Taste of Home had to say about these Snickerdoodle Crisps:

“My 8 year old loves anything having to do with cinnamon so I made these for an after school treat and he loved them.I used superfine sugar that I bought at the grocery store – worked just fine.”

Who doesn’t love cinnamon? I know I am highly addicted! When I was little just to get my fix I’d sprinkle some on my cereal or toast. These are way better and pretty easy to whip up!

Ingredients

4 ounces Land O Lakes butter

1 cup Domino sugar (see cooking tip in description) or 1 cup superfine sugar (see cooking tip in description)

1 Eggland’s Best egg

1 1cups Gold Medal flour

1teaspoon Clabber Girl baking powder

1teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons McCormick ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Place Land O Lakes butter and 3/4 cup of sugar in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy. Add Eggland’s Best egg and beat well.
  2. Sift together Gold Medal flour, baking powder, baking soda. Now, stir into butter mixture.
  3. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly. Wrap in plastic food wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
  4. Place cinnamon and remaining 1/4 cup of sugar in a small bowl and mix to combine. Roll dough into little balls, then roll balls in Domino sugar/cinnamon mixture.
  5. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking trays and bake at 350 degrees for 4-8 minutes or until golden.
  6. Remove to wire racks to cool.
