I love a good fried chicken recipe, but this one? This one is GREAT! Who would have ever thought that fried chicken could be made with southern sweet tea?
There is a flavor that goes along with this poultry dish that almost cannot be described. It’s crispy, crunchy, flavorful, and full of sweet tea delight! The first time I tried making this my kid walked into the kitchen and asked me why I was rolling the chicken in tea.
I told him that I was trying something new and not to worry because I anticipated that it would taste very good. Luckily, this fried chicken tasted more than good, it tasted outstanding!
This sweet tea fried chicken recipe is surprisingly easy to make and the outcome is definitely worth waiting for. I love how crispy this chicken comes out and I guarantee your whole family will, too!
