My husband and I love preparing sliders at home for dinner. We love coming up with new combinations too such as BBQ burgers (they have BBQ sauce, grilled onions and white cheese), Mac and cheese burgers (literally just a dollop of homemade mac and cheese on a burger) or just plain ol’ cheeseburgers. We love creating new things and cooking our meat differently to get different results.
Today we tried something new and it wasn’t a topping: it was the meat. It occurred to me that we lately love ground turkey more than ground beef so why not replace it in burgers as well? So, I thawed out some meat and added some seasonings, bread crumbs and an egg and made the best homemade burgers we’ve ever had! These are something I’m definitely going to make for our next game night with friends!
