A simple and delicious sandwich is all we need sometimes to satisfy our burger craving. This easy to make patty melt will do just that. And by experimenting with different ingredients, you can make it gourmet or all American.
I find that I enjoy the All-American way the best. The patty is juicy, tender, and full of flavor, not mention covered in cheese and an amazing sauce. Yum!
The patty melt was a staple of diners and family restaurants for a long time. Sometimes you can still find them when dining out today, but why bother when you can make them yourself at home.
And you can make them your own way and offer the rest of the gang their own choice of cheeses and toppings as well. Just make sure you have enough of these because everyone is going to want that one more bite!
