5. Crock Pot Breakfast Casserole
Imagine being able to lay in bed for an extra hour because breakfast is already prepared for you in the kitchen. Sounds like a dream come true, doesn’t it? Typically, having kids means we have to get up extra early to get breakfast prepared before the school bus gets to the driveway. However, when you prepare this Crock Pot Breakfast Casserole, you can catch a few more moments of shut eye because all the preparation will have taken place the night before. Sounds fabulous to me!

Fun Fact: A lot of root vegetables are slower to cook than meat, so should be placed in the bottom of the slow cooker. Quicker cooking ingredients, such as seafood, frozen veggies, quick cook veggies such as broccoli and dairy, should always be on top, and usually only added for the last half hour or so.
