I like to keep kitchen gadgets to a minimum. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the clever gadgets they advertise on TV, but I have a smaller kitchen without a lot of space. When I see a gadget I like I ask myself “How often will I use this?” and “Can it serve more than one purpose?”
If the answer is that I won’t use it several times a week, and it only has one purpose, I move on because I just don’t have the space for specialty gadgets. Having said that, however, I HAD to find a way to make ice cream from home because Texas summers are hot. This recipe is super simple and requires no ice cream maker. It’s also really indulgent, but a new flavor that makes your taste buds think!
