Last summer I had a true addiction to smores. It wasn’t enough to make them in our backyard using the fire pit, no… I had to seek out and find the BEST smores –based recipes around.
I made smores everything, smores pie, smores cheesecake. My family was excited about my newfound obsession though, it meant we got to try tons of delicious recipes on a weekly basis throughout the summer. The BEST recipe I found, though, was this one for S’mores Lasagna!
The word s’mores comes from “some more”. It’s believed that Boy and Girl Scouts coined the term s’mores, but it’s hard to say exactly. Rumor has it that there was a graham cracker sandwich called “Some More” in a recipe book.
A couple decades later, a similar recipe was published called in “S’Mores”. No matter how the name came to be, it’s still one of America’s favorite campfire treats.

Can you make this without the V8? I just never buy that and I don t want to have a ton of V8 left over. It s hard to find in small quantities.
